British Airways Reward Flight Sale

British Airways has a launched a limited Reward Flight Sale for European Avios redemptions of up to 40% with further details available here.

The offer is valid on flights from London Gatwick or London City Airport for flights between the 12th November 2024 and 25th March 2025. The offer is up to 40% off so some flights will not feature the full discount. You need to book before the 23rd October 2024 to benefit from the British Airways reward flight sale discount.

The discount applies to both Euro Traveller and Club Europe. Given the Embraer planes used at London City with a 2×2 configuration, Club Europe flights don’t feature a blocked middle seat and the main difference between the two classes being the onboard meal service with Club Europe featuring a fuller meal service. It is also worth noting there are no lounged at London City.

The Reward Flight Sale only applies to the Avios portion and does not impact the cash component of fares. It does apply to all combinations of Avios + Cash so it is worth running some maths if you are focussed on maximising Avios value with the £1 options typically representing the weakest Avios value. For longer flights in Europe or Club Europe bookings it may be beneficial to cancel and rebook under this offer to save some Avios. It is rare to see Avios discounts so move quick to make the most of the British Airways reward flights sale.
